The Launch of EA Sports WRC
The highly anticipated launch of EA Sports WRC is just around the corner. Codemasters has created their biggest rally game to date, and it will be available on November 3. Before the big day arrives, let's go over everything you need to know.
Pre-Load and Early Access
On November 3 at 04:00am UTC, EA SPORTS WRC will be launched worldwide on all platforms. However, if you pre-order the digital version, you can get early access up to 3 days before the official release. Early access starts on October 31 at 07:00 UTC on all platforms and EA Play Pro.
What to Expect
Authenticity
EA Sports WRC is built on a rich heritage of 25 years of rally games. Experience the WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC cars, along with drivers, teams, and liveries from the 2023 season. This is Codemasters' biggest rally game yet.
Locations
Take on 17 different locations, including Monte Carlo, Portugal, Kenya, and Japan. There are over 200 stages available at launch, with the Central European Rally coming as a free post-launch update.
Cars
Travel through rallying history with 68 authentically recreated historic vehicles. You can find the full car list on our website.
Dynamic Handling System
Codemasters has improved their renowned multi-surface handling model for WRC. You can tailor it to match your skill level and test it on all surfaces.
Builder
For the first time, you can design and drive your dream rally car with the debut of Builder mode.
Moments
Get behind the wheel and tackle recent events and nostalgic throwbacks. Rewrite history and experience real-world scenarios.
Modes
Choose from various modes including Career, Championship, Time Trial, Cross-platform Multiplayer, Regularity Rally, and a detailed livery editor.
Clubs
Compete in asynchronous, cross-platform multiplayer events called Clubs. Powered by EA Racenet, there is no limit to the number of players who can participate. Results will be added to the Club's leaderboard.
Rally Pass
After the launch, we will be adding new features and content to EA SPORTS WRC through our Rally Pass. Stay tuned for more information in our "The Road Ahead Blog."
Additional Content
More challenges will be added to our Moments mode regularly. In Season 1, there will be over 50 Moments for all players to enjoy, with EA Play subscribers getting access to seven additional Moments. Plus, Moments do not expire, so players can sign up for EA Play at a later date to experience any missed Moments.
Central European Rally is a new location that will have its real-world WRC debut this week. The stages for this location will be released in a free update for all players after the launch.
PC players can also look forward to playing in Virtual Reality after the launch, and there will be ultrawide support across multiple screens available at launch with further improvements to come.
