EK Introduces New White Version of EK-Quantum Impulse 120 D-RGB Fan

Renowned liquid cooling solutions manufacturer EK has unveiled a stylish white version of its EK-Quantum Impulse 120 D-RGB fan. The new fan features a sleek white design that adds a clean and sophisticated aesthetic to PC setups. It complements the existing black version and provides liquid cooling enthusiasts with more options for visually pleasing setups.

Premium RGB Implementation

The Quantum Impulse fans are equipped with EK's most extensive RGB implementation to date. The fan frame has two illuminated zones, each containing 12 LEDs, and the motor hub features 6 LEDs. These fans offer a well-balanced performance-to-noise ratio with an operating range of 400-1800 RPM.

Designed for Stunning D-RGB Effects and Silent Operation

The EK-Quantum Impulse fans are specially designed as 120 mm PC radiator and case fans. They prioritize both stunning D-RGB effects and silent operation throughout their entire operational range. The LED-lit zone surrounding the frame on both sides of the fan provides vibrant and diffused addressable RGB illumination, regardless of the fan's orientation. The motor hub on the rotor is also adorned with 6 LEDs, adding stylish aesthetics as it spins.

Industry-Leading Designs for Stability and Longevity

The EK-Quantum Impulse incorporates industry-leading designs, including the VAPO bearing and MagLev motor. These designs ensure the stability of the fan and prevent wobbling issues, resulting in a longer fan lifespan. The VAPO bearing introduces magnetic levitation, reducing noise levels and improving shaft stability. Unlike traditional ball-bearing fans, VAPO bearings are resistant to dust and do not dry out, ensuring reliable performance.

Enhanced Stability and Quieter Operation

The EK-Quantum Impulse 120 fan features thick white rubber corners on both sides, minimizing vibrations transferred to the rest of the PC. The rubber corners extend by 1.5 mm on each side, resulting in a total depth of 29 mm when screws are tightened. The square frame design reduces the risk of side air leakage, ensuring enhanced stability and quieter operation.

The Impulse fans offer daisy-chaining capability through the EK-OmniLink system, reducing cable clutter and simplifying cable routing. The system utilizes an 8-pin Micro-Fit connector ecosystem, allowing all signal and power wiring for PWM and D-RGB to run on a single cable and connector. Multiple fans can be connected to a single PWM and D-RGB header, providing a streamlined solution. Individual fans can be easily removed from the chain without disturbing the entire setup.

Simple Setup and Compatibility

All EK-Quantum Impulse 120 fans are designed to work seamlessly with the standard 3-pin 5 V D-RGB connection. They can be easily connected to any standard 3-pin 5 V addressable RGB controller or synced with popular RGB sync technologies supported by major motherboard manufacturers.
