GIGABYTE Launches AORUS Gen5 14000 Series M.2 NVMe SSD

GIGABYTE has introduced its top-of-the-line M.2 NVMe SSD, the AORUS Gen5 14000 series. This drive features the Phison PS5026-E26 Max14um controller paired with Micron B58R 232-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory and a speedy LPDDR4 DRAM cache. Available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities, each variant offers different maximum speeds.

The 2 TB model stands out as the fastest, boasting sequential read speeds of up to 14,500 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 12,700 MB/s. Following closely behind is the 4 TB model, offering up to 14,100 MB/s sequential reads and up to 12,600 MB/s sequential writes. The 1 TB model comes in third, with speeds of up to 13,600 MB/s sequential reads and up to 10,200 MB/s sequential writes.

All three models do not include a heatsink, only a metal film label on top. GIGABYTE suggests using M.2 SSD cooling solutions provided with your motherboard to prevent performance throttling. Pricing details have not been disclosed by the company.
